Ok so no posts for a while…erm why because my life is not very exciting! haha

Christmas came and went…was cool cus Matt and I spent Christmas day together yay and then we went to my parents in Tamworth on Boxing Day.

Me and my sister Kim had a joint 18th and 21st Birthday party on 29th December…and we got very drunk and had lots of fun!

Kim was 18 on the 3rd of January we went out for the day in Birmingham- shopping and then she had a PINK limo on the 6th and we went out drinking and dancing…well untill her bloke Dave got kicked out of the bar we were in because he was too drunk…haha!

Back at uni now…which is sad its my last semester ever and there is soooo much to do. I really should get cracking with my dissertation.hmm maybe not.

Anyway I will try not to leave it so long this time!

Long time since I posted anything on here but nothing much happening atm.

But anyway last night I went to Casino Royale and boy was I impressed…!!! Not really a Bond fan and untill last week I had never seen a Bond film! I can see why women would be attracted to the film as Daniel Craig is quite a hotty…up there with Johnny Depp. And I think its about time Blondies are given the status we deserve.

To buy a Heat Magazine…!!!!!

This weekend Matt and I are going to stay in Windsor but tomorrow Saturday we are taking a trip to London on the train.

We are off to Madame Taussauds and generally a nice day out! Maybe a little bit of what we do best- shopping? Maybe!

Winter is finally here! It is so cold that I have decided today will be my “duvet day” (like the fabric softner advert). I plan to only get out of bed for essential things such a to go to toilet, eat and drink and if need be answer the door!

I’m not being totally lazy though as there are plenty of things I can still do from the comfort and warmth of my duvet! Such as write this blog post!

Maybe later I will take my duvet downstairs and put the fire on and then I will be snug as bug in a rug…well actually a duvet!

I feel so sorry for those of you who aren’t having duvet days and are freezing in this cold weather. But hey I’m not going to feel to guilty- infact I’m really going to enjoy mine!

So this week is my Reading Week…my first real one that I’ve had in the three years I’ve been at uni! Hmm Reading Week what exactly does that mean?? Study, complete assignments, go to the library…hmmm maybe? Or maybe not!!!! Amongst other things I plan to spend mine watching the final 2 series of Sex and the City, having huge lie ins and generally doing nothing…!! And then if I have time and feel like it I may dable in some real work that I normally leave to last minute!

Ah the life of a student!

It should say I have chronic, the most painfull toothache ever!!!! I have been suffering since my Birthday- ironic isn’t it!! But the last two days I have been in so much pain I just can’t sleep!!!! Not Fair. My wisdom teeth are coming through at the bottom and at the moment it is the left side that is keeping me awake! Nothing will get rid of the pain- even tried some liquid painkiller which apparently if you take two knocks you out…no such look! What is the point of them anyway?I don’t need any more teeth!

So yesterday was my 21st Birthday and I had a great day…lots of nice presents to keep for ever and loads of surprises!

Matts present that was so secretly consealed was a PINK Ipod! Woo and not just any pink ipod he had it custom painted so it is totally pink and unique I love it! Also he got me Sugar Rush DVD box set and Casanova on DVD…o Heath Ledger! I had a beautiful jewellery box from my parents, a new coat and the traditonal 21st Birthday gifts too, my sisters got my a necklace, perfume and a To Me To You bear and my brother got my a really cool crystal that has had a unique message lasered into it! We went to Wing Wah’s which is a great Oriental restuarant with a Chocolate fountain and Octupus…which Matt tried..ewww was very amusing though when he made them dance on his plate- not to sure my brother’s girlfriend Rachel liked that bit she seemed to be very squimish!

 Anyway so how do I feel now I’m a real “adult” well to be honest no different just same old me…but I have been thinking that my 21st year will be very different. I will graduate this next year- and then have to get a job, by this time next year Matt and I may- almost very likely have our own house which is very cool but also scary. So its all change but all good change.

But the celebrations haven’t ended yet! Tonight we are all off into town to celebrate woo! I plan to get very drunk and now doubt make a big fool of myself and probably spend the whole weekend recovering! But I’m only 21 once so lets celebrate in style!

With less than 48 hours remaining before I turn 21 I have been checking off all the last times I do things before I turn into a fully fledged adult..

1. Today I went shopping..clothes shopping the last time before I am 21 (to buy my outfit for Friday Night woo!)

2. I ate Pizza at Pizza Hut tonight- for the last time before I am 21.

3. I made Matts sandwiches for work- the last time before I am 21.

4. Tonight I shall sleep in our bed for the last time as tomorrow we are going to Tamworth to celebrate with my family!

5. I shall go to uni tomorrow still only 20 but on Friday when I go to uni I will be 21.

6. And finally before I bore you to death-as you realise that this could go on for ever! Tomorrow night I shall have a drink or two or three with my Mum the night before I am 21!

Very sad all this but I am soooo excited now! Yay!

Next Friday I am to be News Editor for my Radio News day.

I need to get plenty of story ideas so I can fill 3 Bulletins and a summary…plus Weather! I want to be well prepared as it is our first news day of level 3 so its got to be good! Our target audience is students but we do cover national stories too, as well as anything exciting that happens in Lincoln- and I have to say as this is my 3rd year I know that exciting and Lincoln don’t really go together but hey you never know!

So if you have anything exciting or news worthy that could be included let me know!

Fortunately you won’t beable to listen to our bulletins unless you happen to be in the News room 2 area of the Media building next Friday…but thats definately a good thing!

Hermione- my bunny is one year old today. Well unofficially because I don’t know exactly when she was born but I got her around this time last year! So Happy Birthday Hermione!
